Posta Donini 1579 - UNA Experiences is a splendid period residence located in a noble, seventeenth-century villa inside a fully walled-in 22,000 m2 botanical park, an oasis of absolute reserve and quiet.
An antique residence belonging to the Donini-Ferretti counts up until the end of the twentieth century, built in the first half of the 1600s on an old, sixteenth century foundation which is currently used as a wine cellar, as its name, Enoteca 1579 (Wine Cellar 1579) suggests. The residence was renovated to its current appearance
in the mid-1700s when restructuring included the creation of a monumental stairway still used today and magnificent frescoed rooms were painted, characterising the ground floor and the noble floor of the villa, visible during tours.
One wing of these rooms can, simply by opening or closing the doors, be cut off to create a large 250 m2 suite with a large living room space and a private balcony overlooking the beautiful gardens surrounding the building.
Since 2001, the residence has had 48 rooms at its disposition, all created with an expert, skilful restoration. Each room has its own bathroom and is unique from the others, decorated with special care, personalised keeping in mind the antique charm of the residence alongside ultra-modern technology to ensure guests all the modern
comforts in a historic setting. The same high level of attention has been given to the restaurant, located in a charming little building outside the main core of rooms, onnected by means of a lovely glass walkway crossing through the age-old park.
The restaurant offers a sophisticated revisiting of traditional dishes, expertly elaborated by the chef and his staff. These delicious dishes can be paired with the over 500 different types of Umbrian and Italian wines recommended by the maitre sommelier.

Cataloguing was done on the plants and a special natural itinerary was created which details the evolution of the garden.
